01

Requesting and reserving

Submitting the website form requests a quote and does not hold inventory. A date becomes reserved only after availability and logistics are confirmed, both parties sign the event-specific rental agreement, and the retainer shown in the quote is paid.

02

Quotes and payment

Each quote identifies the collection, rental period, service level, delivery or pickup details, applicable taxes, any security deposit, retainer, and remaining balance schedule. Payment instructions are provided personally with an approved quote.

03

Care, damage, and missing pieces

Rental pieces remain the property of Buena Fortuna. The client must safeguard the inventory from delivery or pickup through collection or return. The signed agreement may authorize documented cleaning, repair, labor, or replacement charges for damage or loss beyond ordinary wear.

04

Weather and outdoor venues

The collection is not weatherproof. Outdoor or semi-outdoor use requires written approval and a protected backup location. Rain, moisture, strong wind, unsafe heat, unstable surfaces, or other hazards may require relocation, delayed setup, early removal, or refusal to install.

05

Delivery, access, and setup

Delivery fees depend on venue ZIP, mileage, parking, stairs, elevators, loading distance, access windows, install and strike timing, and order size. The client is responsible for accurate access information, venue permission, a ready installation area, and a reliable on-site contact.

06

Pickup and return

Discounted self pickup and drop-off in Ventura may be approved when the vehicle, protective materials, loading help, and handling plan are appropriate. Larger or installation-sensitive pieces may require professional delivery.

07

Changes and cancellation

Inventory changes, service changes, rescheduling, cancellation, and events outside either party’s reasonable control are governed by the signed quote and event-specific rental agreement.

California tax treatment

California treatment of tangible-property rentals depends on how the inventory was purchased and placed into rental service. Applicable taxes, if any, will be itemized after the business confirms its treatment with a qualified California tax professional.
